My Music Sequencer

A few months ago I designed, programmed and built a MIDI Sequencer based on an Arduino Mega 2650 and an old piece of wood for my Behringer Crave. It started life on an Arduino Uno but I quickly ran out of inputs so I had to move to the bigger Mega 2650.

Here are a couple of Demos that I made with it:

Next is a spacey music clip using an animation sequence I made with Blender 3D in 2022 for my now defunct NFT project – GALE Forge (remember NFT’s!).

My Sequencer fires DIN5 MIDI directly into a Behringer Crave synthesizer whose audio output goes into Abelton Live 12 via a Bomge BMG-22M interface. The sound is then pumped up with the excellent Supermassive DSP plugin from Valhalla. The actual musical notes are inspired by the 1977 aliens movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” – Enjoy!
